Captain my captain

I found this hat at a film sale that Cannell films was having.

Hats are a great prop to instantly transform the wearer into something new and different.

The fact that they've come in and out of fashion over the centuries is also interesting.

As a "prop" it's a very effective tool for changing your look. As much so as makeup is for women (possibly even more so).

I should have got the officers hat and now that I'm thinking about this, I'm going to make an effort to wear and collect more hats.

I think they'll eventually come back in fashion (I'm not talking about the Van Dutch Ball cap here, I'm talking HATS)

Here's a little local promo reguarding hats:

Meet Edie a local hat maker and designer with a great hat shop on Granville Island in Vancouver...

Power to people like Edie who take a cool, under apprieciated thing like hats and make a thriving boutique business out of it... Cudos Edie... Love your shop. Posted by Picasa
